Blessman International receives the meat harvested during each hunt, prepares and feeds it to children in need.

Shane Stoker and Kathy Green participated in a NB Safaris HUNT AGAINST HUNGER hunt. The Stokers had a successful hunt harvesting several animals while at the NB Safaris lodge. To further enhance their hunting experience, they were fortunate to not only donate their harvested meat to Blessman International, but were also able to participate in the preparation and serving of meals to children.

Kathy particularly enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking with the staff while Shane enjoyed serving food and seeing the expressions on the children’s faces. While Shane and Kathy could see the amazing results of their hunt and distribution of the harvested meat on one day, their generous donation will go on long after they are back home.

Their hunt will feed between 100 and 110 children for about 27 days. NB Safaris and Blessman International’s goal is to feed many more children in need, daily.

NB Safaris is thankful for Shane and Kathy’s donation and their partnership with Blessman International. Without the generous meat donation and Blessman International’s ability to distribute the food, these children would have meals normally only consisting of maize meal or go without. This type of diet is hardly enough to allow the children to properly develop physically or mentally. Proper and consistent meals will provide the opportunity for these children’s lives to be impacted in positive ways.

With this collaboration between NB Safaris, Blessman International and the hunters who visit the NB Safaris lodge, we can make a difference in providing nutritious meals to children who would otherwise go without.
